Version 3.0 - March 17, 2025

Issue: On older versions of iOS and MacOS, the app will not launch. Will I lose my songs?

  • Your songs are safely stored in your iCloud account. As long as the app synced to iCloud since your last song editing session everything will be there.

  • First, update your operating system to the latest version. This often resolves any connection issues.

  • If this does not work, you can delete the Guitar Notebook app, deleting any data on your device, download again from the App Store and re-install. When the app launches it will connect to your iCloud account and download all your songs.

  • It’s always important to have backups, so we recommend using the Save as PDF feature to export all your songs to your device. Then you will always have a copy for safekeeping.
