Issue: On older versions of iOS and MacOS, the app will not launch. Will I lose my songs?
Your songs are safely stored in your iCloud account. As long as the app synced to iCloud since your last song editing session everything will be there.
First, update your operating system to the latest version. This often resolves any connection issues.
If this does not work, you can delete the Guitar Notebook app, deleting any data on your device, download again from the App Store and re-install. When the app launches it will connect to your iCloud account and download all your songs.
It’s always important to have backups, so we recommend using the Save as PDF feature to export all your songs to your device. Then you will always have a copy for safekeeping.
